Comstar Entertainment (CE), formely Comstar Home Entertainment Pte Ltd., is the biggest independent video distribution company in Singapore. Formed in 2002, it is a business division of Omnidisc Manufacturing Pte Ltd.

In a short span of time, CE has gained reputation as an arthouse specialist. The company has released diverse titles ranging from European to Asian, arthouse as well as commercial. Today, CE has a host of titles from all over the world including Swimming Pool, 8 Women, Gosford Park, Dogville, Girl With A Pearl Earring, The Sea Inside, Downfall, Zatoichi, Spring Summer Fall Winter.Spring and Ju-On (The Grudge) trilogy The Hidden Blade and Crying Out Love In The centre Of The World in its library.

Besides arthouse, CE has also accquired and released Hollywood blockbusters like Van Helsing and Chronicles Of Riddick with equal success.

Our films are available on both VCD and DVD format, island-wide at major video, music and bookstores. Attractively priced, our titles include many value added bonus materials. We were also the first local distributor to introduce Malay sub-titles on our DVD.
